Manus is a cross-platform agent. Its My Computer feature gives the agent direct access to the user's files, terminal, applications, and connected hardware on both macOS and Windows.
The framing is utilitarian rather than conversational. The user describes a project; Manus does it, including spinning up tooling, running commands, and orchestrating actions across the desktop. Tasks that would normally require sequencing the keyboard, the terminal, and several apps can be stated in a single sentence.
Cross-platform support is one of the harder problems in this product space, and Manus shipping on both Mac and Windows on day one is unusual. The agent handles hardware access (cameras, peripherals) the same way it handles file system access: as another tool it can call.
